    Seeking his third term as mayor of Columbus, Democratic incumbent Michael Coleman hopes to continue to build a “21st century city” engaged in urban development, environmental consciousness and public safety.

    “Every election I take very seriously,” Coleman said from a conference room inside City Hall. “It’s an opportunity to express my views in a campaign setting and to talk about what we’ve accomplished and where we need to go.”

    Alive asked Coleman about numerous issues facing young professionals in Columbus. Here’s what he had to say.
