Nearly every suburb and neighborhood in Central Ohio has some form of a farmers market, so there’s a lot of variety to choose from when sourcing local produce, cheeses, eggs, sauces, baked goods and other products.
Of course, no two farmers markets are the same. Some have live music and entertainment while others attract guests based on the sheer volume and variety of vendors.
When we asked our readers this year to vote on their favorite regional farmers market, the Worthington version shot to the top of the list. Launched in 1987, the event has 35 years of history, and a quaint setting in historic Worthington, among the local shops and restaurants. And with nearly 80 vendors, the Worthington market is one of the largest in the region, making it a worthwhile destination for those who live outside the community as well.
