They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but we’re willing to bet that most people will prefer a mid-day restaurant outing over a cold bowl of cereal any day of the week. To that end, we’ve surveyed our readers for the first time this year about their favorite lunch destinations in Columbus and with the help of our editors, have come up with a solid list that’s sure to provide a few new ideas for your next noon-time meal.
Taking home the top spot in this first year is Brassica, the mediterranean-style fast-casual concept from the creators of the Northstar Cafe. The first location launched in 2015 in the Short North and quickly won over customers with the simple but flavorful build-your-own pita and salad menu. The second Brassica opened in Bexley in Summer 2018 with the third location is coming to Upper Arlington in January making it easier than ever to find a table during the busy lunch hour.
