Kind of a slow week in local food blogging. We assume that everyone is either too busy enjoying the relatively nicer summer weather, or they’re in food-induced comas from the deep fried smorgasbord going on at the fairgrounds. Speaking of which… Nick does a very comprehensive breakfast at the Ohio State Fair. Over at Street Eats, they’ve got a nice writeup on Swoop. Our weekly restaurant review takes place in Reynoldsburg at the new Pie’s Gourmet Pizza Bistro. Nicholas Herum also has a review for us of the new full service dining experience at the AMC Easton Theater. And Columbus Food Adventures reviews the newly-open-to-the-public Eleni Christina Bakery.

So, is that it? Are we missing something out there? It seemed like a fairly business week for food news with announcements about the opening of a second Dirty Frank’s, a new wine bar at Easton, the relocation of Babushka’s Kitchen. So where are the other reviews out there in blogging land?
