This Week in Local Food Blogging: Ice Cream, Pitas and Dinner Parties

Our local food bloggers were on a diet this week, with only a few updates to be found. Street Eats posted information about Pitabilities (pictured above), one of two new pita-based food trucks that are making the rounds in Columbus. Taco Trucks Columbus posted a review of El Halcon, a new west side taco truck that offers a twist on la lengua. The Columbus Experience Blog has a writeup on Vienna Ice Cafe in Clintonville, which is surely enjoying the warm weather this weekend. And last but not least, our in-house review Morgan Kelley makes a trip to Cazuela’s Grill near the University District.

If those four updates are leaving you hungry, perhaps you’re in the mood for some foodie events this weekend? We’re hosting a Dinner Tour Event Series that continues tonight through Monday with stops at Latitude 41, Due Amici and Barcelona. Some great special menu options and paired local cocktails to boot.

    Happy dining, Columbus!
