Top 10 Arts Organizations in Columbus in 2017

When it comes to selecting the top arts organizations in Columbus, it’s hard to choose a favorite. Which is why our readers and editors have selected the Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC) as the number one pick for the past four years: it offers a way to choose a whole lot of arts organizations at the same time.

When GCAC got its start in the early 1970s, it was due to the growth of the arts in Columbus outside of its original three cultural institutions. Today, the organization funds nearly 100 major local arts institutions, manages the city’s largest arts festival, and funds individual artists, musicians and creatives through individual grants.

You can learn more about individual programs and events through our “Columbus Makes Art Presents” partnership series as well.
